Day by Day Beauty Blotting Paper Face Blotting Sheets

Who would have thought my skin was so oily!  It is kind of gross!  haha

I got these sheets to try and will now never leave home without them!  Which is great, because it came as a 2 pack.  Each pack has 100 sheets.

At first i had a hard time getting one sheet out at a time, but if I would just use the sheets that i needed and put the other aside for the next day.

I now use these before i do my make up to make sure all extra oil is off my face as well as at my touch up points on the go.  I love that i can carry them with me and whenever i feel like an oil slick, i can just touch up!  For real, it makes me realize how gross my skin is!!

Another thing that i really like using these for is my lips.  I usually put a lip balm on my lips before my foundation and lipstick.  I like to blot my lips on the paper before i put the foundation on to make sure the excess balm is off.  It has seemed to be working really well!

CanYouHandlebar Oil Brush

This is a great brush to add to your beard care collection.

It comes in a nice canister that you can store it in.  It has a solid easy to handle wooden handle with a Question Mark on it and has super soft bristles.

This does have a super strong smell once you first open it... Almost like spray paint or glue.  If you leave it sit outside of the canister for a few days the smell does go away.

My husband loves the way this feels when he brushes his beard.  I will often catch him just brushing his face.

iPhone 6 Wallet Case - VENA

I love the wallet case idea!  Especially for men!  I know my husband is either losing his phone or his wallet... Since he has had the wallet case, that doesn't seem to be a problem any more!

This case by VENA, is very handsome yet slim.  This will fit the iPhone 6.  The color that i got it in is a very masculine brown.  The case has 3 slots for cards (but 2 per can easily fit per slot) as well as a place to hold your cash.

All buttons and Camera are still easily accesable and able to be used without taking the phone out of the case.

MeasuPro DCT350 and MeasuPro DCT250 Review

My husband and I eat a lot meat and at times eat a primary Paleo diet... We very often rely on meat thermometers to tell us when it is done.

We had the pleasure of being able to test the MeasuPro DCT350 and the DCT250 model.  Both of these are very similar and both very awesome!

Both of these models have some very great key features to them.  First and foremost... they have magnets on the back so you are able to find these easily!

Second, the actual rod that goes into the meat comes on a long cord is removable, (it plugs into the main unit much like head phones to a cell phone) which makes it MUCH easier to clean.

They are digital and both also have a screen that can lay flat or be lifted at an angle to be able to see it better.

Both also only take 1 AAA battery which was included.


The DCT250 is programmable to the temperature that you want it and will alarm you when it is there.  This can read up to 392 degree F, but you can change this to Celsius if you wanted.

Ozeri Electric Wine Opener

I really liked this wine opener!  I takes the struggle out of getting wine open... which for a "wino" is very important!

I used to use the "rabbit ears" to open my wine and with my bad shoulders, it would actually hurt.  I also have pushed the bottle down by accident and brace yourself.... broke the bottle!!!!  it is so sad when wine is wasted!

With this opener just put this over the cork, hold the bottle firmly and press the down button until the cork comes out... Once the cork is out, you hit the up button and the cork will come out of the opener.

This works better on real cork vs the synthetic cork, but it still works very well on both.  The synthetic just takes a bit longer.

I like the slim storage of this with the charger and the nice spot for the wine foil cutter on the back and this even came with a red wine aerator.  There is an indicator light that will shine green when it is fully charged.

Over all, this lightweight, doesn't take up too much room on the counter, looks sharp, easy to use and works well!   Everything a wino could ask for!

Pet Handheld Massaging Mitt Review

This time I got to review a product for my furbaby!  As you all know by my previous blogs, my cat Socks (aka Bubby) LOVES to photo-bomb all my product pics!
