It also is inflatable. Not where when you get it, it is completely flat. It has a memory foam type base. When you get it, it is rolled up in the bag. You take it out and you'll see it has a air valve. You just open this up and the pillow inflates right up! The company suggests that you leave it inflated for a few days since it was rolled up for so long.
If where it inflates to is not where you want or need at that moment you can open the valve and either push air out or you can blow more air into it. You can adjust it to how ever you need it! When the valve is opened it goes back to its own automatic inflate size.
It is not the typical U shaped travel pillow, which in my opinion allows you to use it in more than one way... As a lumbar support as one...
I received this product to test in exchange for my honest opinions and it just so happen to come on the day i was leaving on a 9 hour road trip to NC (which took close to 12 hours) . It was PERFECT! Made the trek way more comfortable! I have fibromyalgia, arthritis and metal rods in my back (I'm a mess), so long car trips are pretty much torture for me... This helped quite a bit.
I used it as a pillow between me and the window.... just between my head and shoulder... behind my head and neck... for lumbar support and a lot of times under my arm to help raise the arm rest. I wish i remembered to take pictures of it in use in the car...
I really am excited to have this for all my future travel!

This is a product I could definitely see myself using, My hubby and I like to take long drives :) during the summer months and often I am falling asleep , to have something like this would be useful
